From Needy to Kingdom-Minded: How to Shift Your Energy in Business & Ministry

Feeling stuck in a cycle of lack or neediness?  In this video, I dive into how needy energy can block your blessings and what it means to truly shift into Kingdom alignment. Drawing from Matthew 15:29-30, I’ll show you how to rest in God’s perfect provision, set powerful intentions, and pour out from a place of faith—not fear. Let's break the chains of desperation and step into the abundant life God has for you.

Practical Steps with Biblical References:

  1. Check Your Energy: Reflect on whether you’re operating from a place of lack or trust. Remember, “Perfect love casts out fear” (1 John 4:18). Fear and lack are indicators of imperfect love.
  2. Set Intentional Alignment: Bend your will and mind toward God’s truth before showing up. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord and let Him direct our paths.
  3. Declare God as Your Source: Speak life over your situation with affirmations rooted in scripture. For example, declare Philippians 4:19—“God will supply all my needs according to His riches in glory.”
  4. Shift Your Focus to Serving: Like Jesus, position yourself to pour out without worrying about outcomes. Matthew 6:33 reminds us to seek first the Kingdom, and everything else will follow.

Activation Steps:

  • Daily Declaration: Before stepping into your work or ministry, speak this over yourself: “I am safe. God is my source, my provider, my protector, and my wisdom. He is always on time and has never forsaken me.” Remember you have to normalize this within your nervouse system. First visualize, then FEEL IT, after is the repition. If you don't FEEL it, it won't normalize and you won't exude that energy.
  • Intentional Pause: Take a moment before engaging with others to pray and release any fear, asking God to fill you with His perfect love.
  • Journal Prompt: Reflect on times when you’ve operated out of desperation. What caused it? What steps can you take to trust God more fully in those moments?

Breakthrough Questions:

  1. Where in your life or business are you still operating from a place of lack or fear?
  2. What truths about God as your source do you need to meditate on this week?
  3. How can you align your energy with the confidence that God has already gone before you?
